Tim and Ashley have attended 22 weddings as a couple since they began dating, with the 23rd wedding being their own! Having attended so many weddings together, finding a unique location was important to them for their nuptials. They certainly found a stunning location in the historic Jacob Henry Mansion in Joliet, Illinois. Tim and Ashley’s ceremony was in Old Central Church, inside of the mansion. Prior to the ceremony Ashley descended down the grand staircase in the mansion for an intimate first look with Tim. This gave us the opportunity to take advantage of the beautiful grounds of The Jacob Henry Mansion, both outdoors and inside of the estate. Their wedding was a beautiful floral combination of navy, coral, and gold. Her dad had planned the most creative speech I have heard- speaking into the videographers camera so future generations can watch :) He printed out son lyrics and placed them on each guest plate, while together everyone sang during the father-daughter dance! It was heart warming! Tim and Ashley’s wedding was elegant, romantic, and surrounded by lots of family and friends who all love them! Congratulations you two!

Something borrowed, something blue, something old, something new, and a sixpence in your shoe! This old victorian Rhyme of a sixpence (coin) in your shoe is a tradition to bring wealth and good fortune to the newlyweds. Tim and Katie’s romantic wedding was everything she has dreamed about since she was a little girl. A romantic white wedding complete with the perfect little white church and a 1936 Rolls Royce. The ceremony was in the most adorable chapel in Elbourn, Chapel on The Green. Even Tamarack Golf Club in Naperville has a long wrapped around porch, feeling like you were out in a prairie for the reception :) This April wedding was absolutely perfect, surrounded with flowering trees which made for breathtaking photos! Congratulations you two!

Jake and Domini’s wedding was a perfectly elegant wedding to start off the 2017 wedding season season! Domini and the bridesmaids got ready at her parents house, while Jake and the groomsmen got ready at Homewood Suites in Orland Park. Both were minutes away from the ceremony at Our Lady of the Woods. The rain held off in the morning for a few outdoor photos, and even though it drizzled in the afternoon we found the main doors in front of the country club was still beautiful for images. Jake and Domini’s son Harrison stole the show in his buggy as he was pulled down the aisle, decked out in his adorable little tuxedo!! This wedding was a mixture of gold, blush and cremes, with small details that tied it together beautifully. The maids wore formal floor length gold gowns, and the bride opted out of a veil and instead wore a gorgeous jeweled headpiece. It showed off her beautiful hairdo and adding even more glam to her already stunning dress! Congratulations Jake + Domini, it was such a fun wedding!
A very special thank you to all of the creative vendors who helped put this together!

Sean and Carla’s wedding was the last one for 2016 for Danny and I, and what a stunning wedding to end it on!! Sean and Carla are both glowing in every photo, and we were blessed with a gorgeous sunset right at the end of our bridal party photos. Carla and the bridesmaids got ready in the newlywed’s new home, which they closed on just a few months before the wedding! It’s so cozy inside and decked out with Milligan signs you would think they’ve been there for years :) Sean got ready at his parents house only a few minutes away, before their traditional catholic mass at Queen of Martyrs in Evergreen park. After mass we went to Lake Katherine for a perfect sunset along the lake for bridal party photos. We also created a hilarious mannequin challenge… if you haven’t seen it on facebook, go look now! You can see the aftermath photo below :) The reception at DiNolfo’s Homer Glen was elegant from top to bottom! Both fathers gave tear-worthy speeches, while the Maid of Honor and Best Man left the crowd with some embarrassing stories on both sides! Congratulations Sean and Carla! Enjoy the previews!
Myles & Alexandra are the sweetest couple whose love has truly stood the test of time! They are high school sweethearts and have been together for ten years!!! They’re wedding was nothing less than stunning in every detail. This wedding was suburban chic, with the brides long sleeve lace gown and the bridesmaids champaign trumpet style dresses. Everything was held in the town where they grew up minutes a part from each other in Bloomingdale. Both the bride and groom got ready at their parent’s houses before heading to the ceremony, and the reception was held at Bloomingdale Golf Club. It was a PERFECT fall day, the sun was shining and the colors were gorgeous combinations of oranges and reds. Alexandra even surprised her mom at the reception with a special mother-daughter dance, as a thank you to all of the endless planning they did for this wedding :) It is one of the most beautiful mother-daughter relationships I’ve seen! Myles and Alexandra enjoy these previews, you two are such a beautiful couple!

Mike and Melissa’s was a fairytale fall wedding. The ceremony and reception were both held at the beautiful White Pines Golf and Banquets in Bensenville, Illinois. The bridesmaids Navy dresses were perfect for the Autumn, and their bouquets were dazzling with bits of orange and yellow. The grooms Uncle performed the ceremony for the two of them, which added such a personal touch to the wedding. Let’s not forget about the dapper ring bearer in his tuxedo that was custom fit for his thick chest (you’ll know once you see him!). Melissa even had the most gorgeous twinkle lanters hung above the dance floor which really tied together the reception room. The log cabin feel mixed with the hints of rustic decor made for a stunning wedding! Congratulations you two!

Joe and Kayde’s cross town classic happened right in time during this playoff season! Joe and Kayde got ready at the First Congregational Church of LaGrange, where the ceremony also happened. It was a beautiful service, and the groomsmen tried to pull a quick one by “losing” the rings, it was super cute! After the ceremony we went to Katherine Legge Memorial Park in Hinsdale to capture some fun bridal party photos before heading to the party at Ashton Place in Willowbrook. Joe and Kayde are such an easy going, fun couple who are so in love! It shows in every photograph!
