Andy and Kazia were married at the Roundbarn in Manhattan, Illinois. I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved photographing her wedding. Besides from the fact that the two of them are absolutely gorgeous, there was so much effort put into all the little details, and boy does that make a huge impact on your wedding photos! The ceremony was so romantic, tucked away in the back of a beautiful pond. I was swooning over her home made chuppah with the white curtains and flowers.
Don’t you love the various shades of blue in her bridesmaids dresses? I LOVE the way they photographed. Get this- Kazia’s bridesmaids dresses didn’t come in on time!! Two weeks before the wedding she cancelled the orders in fear of them not arriving, and had her girls find a blue long dress of any shade. I just love the way it turned out!!
The reception was held at Andy’s parents house in Manhattan, where they rented a tent and ordered food from Chuck’s BBQ. They had the most amazing sunset I have ever seen, and I was able to steal them from dinner to get a shot. It is soon going to be a huge canvas on my office wall, I can’t wait!!! I feel so honored to have had you both choose me to photograph your special day, and I get to see the family again at Andy’s brothers wedding New Years Eve!
