Next Sunday is my valentine’s day mini session, and I wanted to share with both other photographers and my clients how I am going to go about my backdrop and some fun props I made.
First I found a ton of inspiration on pinterest, I LOVE the concept of doing a ribbon backdrop. This is what I am going to cover my wall with, so the first thing I got was a couple spools of ribbon!
Here is some of the valentine’s day ribbon I bought!Another thing I found on Pinterest that I am going to string together are these adorable little paper hearts! It was so easy to make, I just curled the ends and glued them together. I am going to hang them between the ribbon!
I love how photobooths at weddings have these props, so I made some for my session! I bought some felt at Joanne Fabrics, and glued thin wooden rods on the back. It was so easy and again I found some inspiration from etsy.com
Can’t wait for the photoshoot! My sister is making me various sized valentines day headbands, that will be available to wear for the shoot, and you can purchase them too if you’d like! Contact Cassie’s Creations on facebook.com!
Lastly, Carter wanted to try on the wings :)
Custom Valentine’s Day Cards will be available for purchase and delivered by the end of the week! 5 x 7 cards with envelopes will be $.75 each, and the custom shapes are $37 for a pack of 25. If you are purchasing a card you can pick your photo for the card at the end of the session.
