Carmella’s Pink and Gold Nursery!

As most of you know, Danny and I are due with our first baby on Valentine’s Day! We are both so excited and so grateful, and I wanted to use these last few days of peace and quiet to dedicate a blog post to my sweet daughter that will be entering this world any day now! (that’s so weird to say!!!!) I have the most awesome brides, who even gifted us various items from clothes to our diaper bag!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! At the end of the post I’ll go through and name where everything is from :)

I originally got the inspiration from pinterest, and let’s just say EVERYTHING revolved around this gold wall stencil, which was the most time-consuming thing we’ve ever done!!! First we painted the whole wall pink three times, to realize the stencil was backwards and we had to still paint the whole wall gold. Since its metallic it needed…. well like four coats of gold. It was crazy, but it came out perfect!!!

The gallery wall will eventually have photos in them… not just empty frames. Most of these awesome finds were thanks to TJ Maxx! And some old frames I had laying around in my office ;)

I signed up for one of those book trade programs on Facebook, and it really did work!!! Thank you to again one of my fabulous past brides Sarah Tee for including me!!!

The XOXO sign was found at Joanne Fabrics… since my due date is on Valentines I figured it was festive!!

Also a HUGE thank you to Abby from Abigail Joyce Photography who photographed our gorgeous maternity session at the Morton Arboretum! It was of course one of the coldest days of the year but I REALLY wanted to do them before she went out of town, so thank you for being such a trooper and the beautiful photos!!! Abby will be doing our newborn photos as well, I can’t wait!!!
